X – Xcuse
It may not be a good reason to buy something we didn’t need in the first place. Until few years before, my love for the dress was extreme. I had always created occasions for me to buy and stock dress. I think while growing up, I did not have occasions to buy except for birthday and Deepavali. So, the greed for stocking the dress grew as I matured. My extreme excuses for buying the dresses were –
- it was on a sale,
- I wanted to pamper myself,
- I wanted to cheer up,
- I deserved a treat, I have not bought anything new in ages,
- if not now, then when…
I put a stop for this crazy greed when I saw how the tsunami washed away everything. It made me realise we are nothing before the nature. A lesson learnt, never to give lame xcuses!
When my tummy carves for outside food, I excuse myself to cooking declaring a holiday for the pantry. Guess what, it’s a feast for me at no expenses. I love these kinda sweet xcuses atleast twice in a month.
X- Xtreme Emotions
Women are known for their xtreme emotions. Be it love, hatred, anger, sad or humor, we are sometimes called women of xtremes. In a world that has become increasingly more automated, and conversations have become more technology based rather than face to face, it is hard to create the bonds that the extreme woman desires so deeply. The love that comes with the woman of extremes is intense, hardly logical, and often terrifying. Angry feelings are the same as violent behavior. We need the freedom to drag our various feelings out into the light without fearing that they will be ignored or used against us.
X- Xenial – Hospitality
Women are known for being Xenial because of the following attributes. They have a greater understanding, patience, excellent communications skills, better aesthetic sense, interpersonal skills, better as a decision maker, and they are accommodating by nature.
I scratched my brain xtremely and I could get no better xcuse than accepting that X is so challenging. I thought so many topics like Xena the warrior princess, X-factor, Xray, and Xerox. But I could not write more than 1 paragraph.
Xcuse me X You are Xtreme to think difficult to write but Xcellent to pronounce here you go with a XoXo!

Welcome to syncwithdeep! I am not a prolific blogger. My blog is 1 month old. I love memories and that was one of my reasons to come up with blogging. I don’t have a niche as I love to write about anything that appeals to me. This is my first year with #BlogchatterA2Z #ATOZChallenge and I have taken up the category woman themed at 40. In a couple of months, I am going to set my foot on the 40s, the descending hill. I am sharing my perspective how this transition is going to transform me in the nearing future. This is absolutely my Personal Experience. I would be glad if you spam me with your comments, whether you agree or disagree. That way, I can know how you welcome your 40s. Stay tuned with me every day to know how I am coping with my 40s.

Loved this post, Deepa! I agree with you on various excuses to shop (I now control myself), excuse to eat outside on the cook’s day off. Also, we women are like that, aren’t we, we harbour so many emotions of varying degrees that it’s amazing how we still manage to stay sane. 🙂 And, as for Xenial – got a new word for my vocabulary today, thanks to you and Shalini. And the ending lines were just great and so true! X is really difficult, but we all have done a fab job.

Wow you totally killed X 😂 And I’ve used all these excuses for shopping – especially for stationery items. The second post I’m reading that uses xenial.

First thing first Deepa, I really liked your yesterday’s post. It indeed was very candid and straight from the heart. I tried commenting thrice but I don’t know every time the comment d comment did not go through. In today’s post I liked your idea of making it a mix of words if you can’t choose any one and it did work well.

After reading the Xcuses, had a great doubt that DeepaK is Mrs Chitterchatter for sure. No second thought on that…hahahahaha!

I love giving excuses to myself for not exercising. Sometimes they sound ridiculous even in my head. Since these excuses do no good in anything, it’s best to excuse them from our life! 😀
