Y- You Only Live Once (YOLO) #BlogchatterA2Z #AtoZChallenge #AtoZ

You Get what you Give.

Life is short and You Only Live Once.

Sometimes all we need is someone to tell us how important we are and that it’s about us and our life. Our life has a purpose and lets us makes the best out of it. Each one of us has unique skills, talents, and abilities that set us apart from everyone else on this planet. When we discover these qualities within ourselves, we have the potential to harness the real power that no amount of money can buy. Our abilities may bring light to someone’s day or change their worldviews.

It is difficult to experience fulfillment in life. When we want to work out what is fulfilling, we generally look for things that are organized in our lives. People, places or things do not add fulfillment in our life. By focusing on people, places, and things, we miss the positive emotions we want and are burdened with the very negative emotions we’ve tried all our lives to avoid! This is true of hurt feelings, worry, anxiety, fear, unrest, uncertainty, and confusion because we are depending on a person, place, or thing for life. It’s the good energy that emanates from making a person feel a little happier and empowered.

Having no regrets in life is a secret of living the life to its fullest. An apology is usually a good idea if we care about the other person and the relationship.

No matter what takes place in life we still have free will to act as we choose, and the capacity to make meaning for better or worse. You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.

Before ending this note, I share with you a prayer song that I learned when I was a little girl.

Your inner voice is calling calling you!

Make God your guru,
Let him tell you what to do,
Listen! He is calling, calling you!
Take time to listen, have courage to obey,
The inner voice is calling, calling you.
There are voices all around us,
That of enemies and of friends,
Do this, don't do that, the chorus never ends.
But I shall always listen, to that quiet inner voice,
It is still and definite, and I've made my choice.
 Make God your guru,
Let him tell you what to do,
Listen! He is calling, calling you!
Take time to listen, have courage to obey,
The inner voice is calling, calling you

Welcome to syncwithdeep! I am not a prolific blogger. My blog is 1 month old. I love memories and that was one of my reasons to come up with blogging. I don’t have a niche as I love to write about anything that appeals to me. This is my first year with #BlogchatterA2Z #ATOZChallenge and I have taken up the category woman themed at 40. In a couple of months, I am going to set my foot on the 40s, the descending hill. I am sharing my perspective how this transition is going to transform me in the nearing future. This is absolutely my Personal Experience. I would be glad if you spam me with your comments, whether you agree or disagree. That way, I can know how you welcome your 40s. Stay tuned with me every day to know how I am coping with my 40s.

  1. Beautiful post, Deepa! I particularly liked the image you have chosen to say what you give is what you get back. That’s so true. When we invest in our relationships, we get the same kind of respect too. Loved the poem – our inner voice is the most honest and wisest friend.

  2. Lovely as well as inspiring, Deepa. I firmly believe that you cannot change your circumstances but you can choose whether to be happy or sad in those circumstances. You only have this much freedom but it’s significant. Acceptance is the key to be happy – Real Acceptance Not Compromise. 🙂

  3. This is just so true. When we start focusing on others beliefs we kind of start getting negative. It’s so important to listen to our inner voice. Rightly said and I loved the poem
