Thin Lines – The Daily Post

I love my child’s smile
But as he gets into teens
I see it less
there is a thin line
between smile and laughter.
Sometimes the line is expressed
by a hand covered over the lips
to hide the uneven or protruding teeth!

Thin lines in my belly
Complete my motherhood!
Fine lines in my face,
Reminds me my age!

Every line in our skin
Is from when we smiled or laughed
frowned or cried
Crinkled the nose
Or squeezed the eyes shut
Thick or thin
Every line has a story
Do you have one?
