I sit by the window with a cup of tea. A cool breeze ruffled through the tangled locks of my hair. The sun had just risen behind the tall blocks through the thin mist. The outline of the houses was becoming clear. The chirps tore open the sky, the birds calling to one another waiting for the dawn.

‘Wake up! Not again today,’ chirped the birds at the sight of the first call of the dawn.

‘Oh! Allow me five more minutes please,’ the twilight shied away pulling a blanket of fog over herself.
